First off, this is a great price for solar lights... other reviewers that claim these are over priced have obviously never shopped around for solar christmas lights. These are right on target for the price. Secondly, these are not designed for INSIDE use. Reviewers on here are trying to light up the inside of their house or actual christmas tree by mounting the panel in the window. Doesn't work that way. Shining through the window the panel will NEVER get enough light... just the way it is... these are designed for OUTSIDE use, so don't give a bad review because you are too cheap to plug in a real set of lights in your house.
These are an excellent product and work as described... I have 5 sets and absolutely love them. |
A great landscaping accent product

| Great for lighting small to medium trees outlining a patio. The light is softer than stander Christmas lights which is nicer for a patio atmosphere. Easy to install and you never have to turn on or off |
Wonderful outdoor lights

Off the top let me just correct a couple of reviewers who got it wrong.
First to the fellow that said he expected colored lights. It is true that the picture has multi colored lights but the description clearly states the lights sold are white.
To the other fellow that said the lights were dim we have placed ours on a headstone and they were clearly visible from about 150 yards away with the lights set on blinking they are the attraction of the lot.
Highly reccomended and the service great. Amazon said we probably weren't getting them until after Xmas and we received them within a couple of days of ordering them and at least 3 days before Xmas. |
Perfect

| These Lights were just what I needed. They charged easily and stayed lit for hours. It was easy to use and I look forward to using them year after year for many outdoor events. i look forward to the next product that can charge while attached to my roof not just attached to a spike in the ground. |
easy, but a little dim

I have 3 strings of these on an outside tree. It's great to not have to run cords across the yard, worry about turning on/off, or heck, even pay for electricity!
The little solar panels conveniently stick into the ground (or balance on a branch, if you prefer), and really dont' need to see much sun, just daylight, really, to work.
One downside, if this is a downside, is they glow a sort of dim bluish color. If you're looking for that garish bright white, you'll be disappointed, this is more of a calm, pale sort of light.
I personally like it, however, and next year will be getting more. |
